She pays Rs.80-120 for 4L kerosene to light her wick lamp and she gets Rs.70 for preparing 1000 beedis (a local leaf cigarette) in 2 days time. Her nose becomes black every day from preparing beedis around the clock with a smoky wick lamp only one foot away from her face for illumination.
